The Austin College volleyball team fell to No. 8-ranked Colorado College but bounced back with a convincing win over Centenary College on the first day if this weekend's SCAC crossover event in Irving on Saturday.

The 'Roos fell 25-22, 25-10, 25-17 in the opener against the nationally-ranked Tigers, with Katie Ingle leading Austin College with six kills and 10 assists in the loss. Rachel Fusselman had 23 digs to lead Austin College, while Presleigh Watson and Reygan Holloman each had five kills. Watson added four total blocks in the loss.

Austin College rebounded with a sweep of Centenary, winning 25-18, 25-15, 25-14. Watson tallied 10 kills to lead the way, and Holloman added nine kills in the victory. Ingle had a strong all-around match with six kills, 22 assists, and 10 digs, and Madison Lee added six kills and six digs. Fusselman once again led the way with 19 digs.
