Volleyball Goes Unbeaten on Day Two of Hendrix Invitational

The Austin College volleyball team picked up a pair of 3-0 wins over Williams Baptist and Rhodes on Saturday, bringing the team's record to 12-3 overall this season.

The 'Roos opened the day with a 25-15, 27-25, 25-20 win over Williams Baptist, handing WBC just their second loss of the season in the process. Presleigh Watson had seven kills and a .455 hitting percentage, and Madison Lee added seven kills and six digs. Dani DeWitt added seven kills, while Lauren Wulz had 22 assists to lead Austin College. Chandler Sherman added 10 assists and eight digs, and Rachel Fusselman had a team-best 17 digs in the win.

In the team's final match of the weekend, the 'Roos Cruised to a 25-20, 25-20, 25-18 win over the Lynx, getting 10 kills and seven total blocks from Watson to lead the way while Lee added nine kills and four digs. Wulz once again led the way with 22 assists and added a team-best 11 digs, and Sherman added 13 assists.
