The Austin College volleyball team fell 3-2 to Texas Lutheran and 3-1 to Trinity on Sunday at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference crossover in Georgetown. The 'Roos are now 12-11 overall and 3-4 in SCAC play.

The 'Roos fell 14-25, 16-25, 25-16, 25-22, 14-16 in a hard fought match against TLU to open the day, with Shelby Eaves leading the 'Roos with 18 kills and adding 10 digs. Bekah Newberry and Madison Lee each had 11 kills while Kelsey Klingler had 44 assists and Rachel Fusselman had 23 digs.

Against Trinity, the 'Roos fell 19-25, 25-22, 11-25, 14-25 to close out the weekend. Eaves registered 18 kills to lead the way again and also tied with Fusselman for a team-high 14 digs. Klingler had 33 assists and 10 digs, and Alyssa Pruett added 11 digs.
