'Roo Volleyball Sweeps Centenary and Dallas

The Austin College volleyball team picked up a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference wins on Saturday at the second SCAC regular season event of the season. The 'Roos swept both Centenary College and the University of Dallas 3-0 to improve to 12-8 overall and 2-3 in conference play with the victories. 

Shelby Eaves had 14 kills and added 16 digs to lead the 'Roos past Centenary, as the 'Roos topped the Ladies 25-13, 25-17, 25-22. Kelly McDaniel had 33 assists and added 10 digs and Adrienne Reynolds led the 'Roos with 21 digs. Bekah Newberry and Reygan Holloman each had eight kills for Austin College. 

In the second match, the 'Roos topped the Crusaders by scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-13 behind 14 more kills from Eaves and 35 assists from McDaniel. Reynolds once again led the way with 25 digs and Eaves added 17. Ally Ahlberg had eight kills and Newberry added seven in the match. 

The 'Roos close out the weekend tomorrow with a 1:30 p.m. match against No. 23-ranked Southwestern University
