'Roo Volleyball Tops LeTourneau on Senior Night

The Austin College volleyball team topped visiting LeTourneau University 3-0 on Thursday night, bringing the team's record to 10-8 overall this season. The 'Roos topped the Jackets by scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-23 in the match. 

Shelby Eaves had a big match for the 'Roos with 14 kills and 11 digs to lead the way, and Kelly McDaniel had 37 assists. Bekah Newberry added 10 kills and Ally Ahlberg had seven, while Adrienne Reynolds had a team-best 17 digs for the 'Roos in the match. 

The 'Roos host the second Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season event this weekend and will take on Centenary and Dallas on Saturday as well as Southwestern on Sunday. 

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
