Duong and Carvajalino Named Doubles Team of the Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Austin College women's tennis players Melody Duong and Diana Carvajalino have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the league office has announced.

Duong, a sophomore from League City, and Carvajalino, a junior from Hurst, improved to 6-3 overall and 6-2 against NCAA Division III opponents on the year playing on line one with an 8-1 victory over McMurry. That doubles win was part of a 5-3 victory over the War Hawks, the first time that Austin College women's tennis has topped McMurry in more than five years.
