SHERMAN, Tex. - The Austin College Women's Tennis Team moved to 6 wins and .500 in the SCAC with a decisive victory over the Centenary College Ladies at home on Saturday.
The Kangaroos did not drop a game in doubles play, and dropped only two games in singles play. Freshman Kirsten Weber moved to 6-4 on the year in singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at Line 1, while her and partner Grace Ortiz moved to 7-3 on the year at Line 1 Doubles.
Carlye Lide moved to 6-2 on the year with a victory at Line 3 6-0, 6-0 and Meghan White got her first win a Line 2 Singles on the year after winning all but 1 match (forced to retirement; injury v. Ozarks 3/5) at Line 3.
Magan Green moved to 4-2 with her win at Line 4, while Katie Barber remained undefeated on the year at singles with a win at Line 5.
The Austin College Women's Tennis Team will host Schreiner University tomorrow, 4/3 at 11:00am during Faculty/Staff/Student Appreciation Day at the Elizabeth Russell Tennis Center.
