THE COLONY, Texas - The Austin College women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the 2018 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship Meet on Saturday evening, placing sixth overall with 224 points, just behind fifth place Centenary's 244 points.
Sophie Garriga earned a seventh place finish in the 200 backstroke, coming in with a time of 2:16.85, and was also eighth in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:25.15. The 'Roos got a sixth place finish in the 400 free relay, as the team of Jennifer Liang, Katie Voelkel, Sarah Edzards, and Garriga came in with a time of 4:00.99 in the event.
