Women's Swimming Takes Fourth at Hendrix Invitational

The Austin College women's swimming and diving team put together a good overall team performance at the Hendrix Invitational, placing fourth overall out of seven teams competing at the event.

Katherine Tuttle and Margaux McCartney each had strong performances in the diving events, with Tuttle winning the 1-meter event with a score of 188.80 while McCartney took first in the 3-meter event with a score of 196.10. 

The team of Sophie Garriga, Bailey Clark, Caitlyn Brugger, and Sarah Edzards took fifth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:09.97, while Garriga took fourth in the 400 individual medley with a time of 5:11.42. Garriga also had a strong showing in the 200 backstroke, placing third with a time of 2:22.34. Edzards added a fifth place finish in the 1650 freestyle, coming in with a time of 21:42.09.
