'Roo Women's Swimming and Diving Earns Academic Honor

The Austin College women's swimming and diving team was one of four Southern Collegiate Athletic College programs to earn CSCAA Scholar All-America honors. This award is presented to college or university swimming & diving teams who have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the fall semester.

Along with Colorado College, Southwestern, and Trinity, the 'Roo women were among the teams recognized for this national award. Austin College posted a team GPA of 3.27 under head coach Bob Filander.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's oldest professional organization of college coaches. Its mission is to serve and provide leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
