Women's Soccer Earns Draw with Texas Lutheran

SEGUIN, Texas - The Austin College women's soccer team fell behind 1-0 but Hallie Dickerson delivered a game-tying goal to help the 'Roos to a 1-1 double overtime draw at Texas Lutheran on Friday evening. The 'Roos are now 0-3-1 on the year.

The two teams were scoreless heading into halftime on Friday, with Texas Lutheran owning an 11-to-4 shot advantage but Meredith Harris was stellar in the net on the night, making 21 saves in the game, including nine in the opening half and 10 in the second. Harris added one save in each of the two overtime periods.

Texas Lutheran got on the board in the 57th minute of action, but at the 65:11 mark Sydney Padget found Dickerson for the game-tying goal, and that's the way things would finish.

So far this season, the 'Roos have surrendered just four goals in four games, with Harris making 45 saves and boasting a .957 save percentage in 290 minutes.
