Women's Soccer Blanked by Southwestern

The Austin College women's soccer team fell 4-0 at Southwestern on Sunday afternoon, dropping the 'Roos to 2-4-1 overall and 0-2-1 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The SCAC-leading Pirates got on the board early with a goal in the 6th minute of action, and went up 2-0 on a tally at the 15:05 mark of the first half. Southwestern would tack on another goal at the 24:00 mark to head into halftime with a three goal lead.

The score would remain 3-0 until the 83 minute mark, when the Pirates would tally again to make it a 4-0 final. Southwestern used a 23-8 shot advantage in the match to keep the 'Roos at bay, while Laura McGee made seven saves for Austin College.
