The Austin College women's soccer team earned its second win in a row, as Sarah Battles tallied in the second overtime period to give the 'Roos a 1-0 victory at LeTourneau on Tuesday night. The 'Roos are now 2-3 overall this season.
The 'Roos and Jackets battled back and forth in what was an evenly played match throughout, with Austin College holding a slight 19-15 edge in the shots department. But it would be the one and only shot the 'Roos took in the second overtime that made the difference, as Battles tallied her first goal of the season on a chip over the keeper in the 101st minute of action.
Laura McGee earned the clean sheet for Austin College, stopping all nine shots she faced.
