For the second time in the last week, the 'Roo women's soccer team was edged 1-0 by Texas Lutheran, bringing the team's overall record to 6-6 and conference mark to 2-4. Last week the 'Roos also fell 1-0 when the Bulldogs visited Sherman.
Austin College dominated at the start, getting seven shots in the game's first 15 minutes including two on goal, but Texas Lutheran started to take control after that. Austin College would not get another shot in the opening half, and managed just two second half shots. Texas Lutheran got 10 of their 12 shots in the second half, and tallied in the 72nd minute of action.
Franchesca Lozoya made five saves in the loss.
