The Austin College women's soccer team fell 3-1 to Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference rival the University of Dallas on Sunday, bringing the team's overall record to 2-6 and conference mark to 1-1.
After a scoreless first half, UD got on the board in the 54th minute but the 'Roos quickly countered with a goal from Lauren Scott in the moments later. However, the Crusaders tacked on what would be the game-winner in the 61st minute and added an insurance tally with under two minutes left to play.
Franchesca Lozoya made eight saves in the net for Austin College, which fell despite owning a 19-16 shot advantage.
