Frank Named First Team All-Region

SHERMAN, Texas – For the second year in a row, Austin College women's basketball player Bryce Frank has been named first team All-South Region by D3Hoops.com, the organization announced today.

Frank, a senior forward from Granbury, was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season after leading the conference in both scoring and rebounding. She also finished the season tied for the national lead in double-doubles, and broke the SCAC career and single season marks for double-doubles while helping the 'Roos to a 20-6 overall record. 

Frank, a preseason second team D3Hoops.com All-American, finished her career ranked third in SCAC history in rebounds and ninth in scoring. This weekend, she will head to Salem, Virginia to participate in the inaugural Beyond Sports Women's Collegiate All-Star Game.

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
