SHERMAN, Texas – For the second time this season, Austin College women's basketball player Bryce Frank has been named to the D3Hoops.com National Team of the Week following her outstanding performance last weekend.
Frank, a junior forward from Granbury, averaged 28.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists-per-game while shooting better than 53% from the field and 83% from the free throw line as the 'Roos went 1-1 with a win over Schreiner and a loss at No. 15-ranked Trinity. In the game against Trinity, Frank poured in a career-high 32 points and pulled down 15 rebounds while handing out six assists.
For the year, Frank is in the top three in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in scoring, rebounding, and assists, and also leads the SCAC in field goal percentage while ranking in the top five in free throw percentage.
Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
