Riley's Hot Shooting Lifts 'Roo Women Past Centenary

Erin Riley knocked down 6-of-8 three pointers on her way to 20 points to guide the Austin College women's basketball team past Centenary College on Saturday. The 'Roos are now 7-8 overall and 1-4 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with the victory.

The 'Roos grabbed a six point halftime lead after Riley came out scorching hot, hitting all five of her first half three point attempts and scoring 15 of her 20 points in the opening half. Christina Kime scored all seven of her points to lead the 'Roos in the second half, including knocking down 5-of-6 free throws to hold off the Ladies.

Riley added eight rebounds, Kime had five assists, and Brittany Stepanski scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead the 'Roos to the win.
