'Roo Women's Hoops Falls to UT-Dallas

The University of Texas-Dallas used a 19-0 run spanning the end of the first half and the start of the second to blow the game open and hand the 'Roo women's basketball team a 67-47 loss on Tuesday afternoon.

Austin College fell behind 19-9 early but battled back to pull within two at 24-22 with 3:26 remaining, but UTD scored 11 straight to end the half and scored the first eight points of the second half to make it a 43-22 game with 16:24 remaining. The 'Roos were unable to get the margin under 16 the rest of the way.

Brianna Harvey came off the bench to score a team high 12 points and added seven rebounds, and Shayna Clardy hit 3-of-5 three pointers on her way to 11 points in the loss.
