'Roos Get Strong Performances at Oklahoma Baptist

SHAWNEE, Okla. - The Austin College distance track team got several strong results at the Oklahoma Baptist University Invitational, as multiple runners set new personal bests throughout the day.

In her first time ever running the 1500-meter event, Hannah Fraga won her heat with a time of 5:40.02, while Hannah Richards also performed well in the race, coming in with a time of 5:32.63. On the men's side, RJ Navarro also won his heat in the 1500-meter with a time of 4:27.03, good for 19th place in the event. Navarro also broke the school record in the 800-meter, finishing with a time of 2:06.74, placing him 11th in the race.

Danielle Lozano turned in a strong run in the 5000-meter race, beating her old personal record by more than six seconds and finishing with a time of 20:51.55, good for 12th place. Charlie McIntyre finished 10th in the 5000-meter on the men's side, coming in with a time of 16:58.57.
