SHAWNEE, Okla. - Chris Biffar set a new Austin College record in the 800-meter and the 'Roo distance track team performed well at the Oklahoma Baptist University Invite on Saturday.
Biffar finished with a time of 2:08.85 in the 800m event, finishing 40th in the event. Alex Quinn had a strong showing on the women's side, placing 20th in the 5000-meter race with a time of 20:00.40, just four seconds shy of matching her personal record. Eden Llamas finished 30th in the same event, crossing the finish line with a time of 21:36.41.
Biffar also performed well in the 1500-meter race, coming in with a time of 4:26.93, good for 29th.
