TYLER, Texas - Hannah Richards had a pair of first place finishes and Chris Biffar set a new school record in the 800 meter as the Austin College men's and women's distance track teams had a strong showing at the Marc Randle Classic hosted by UT-Tyler.

Richards set a school record in the 800 meter, finishing with a time of 2:26.15 to secure a first place finish. She secured her second first place finish in the 1500 meter race, setting another school record with a time of 5:00.75. The 'Roo women also got an eighth place performance from Alex Quinn, who ran the 5000 meter event in a time of 21:03.74.

On the men's side, Biffar placed seventh in the 1500 meter with a time of 4:26.73, and finished 15th in the 800 meter event, coming in with a time of 2:08.94 to establish a new program record.
