SHERMAN, Texas - With inclement weather expected in Sherman this weekend, the schedule for the Austin College softball team's final home series of the year against Southwestern University has been shifted. Originally slated for two games on Saturday and two games on Sunday, the teams will now play a doubleheader beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
The 'Roos and Pirates will keep Saturday's games scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m., weather permitting. Austin College will continue to monitor this weekend's weather for any further adjustments to the playing schedule.
Friday night will also be Senior Night for the 'Roos, with the senior members of the softball team being recognized prior to game one of the doubleheader.
