MARSHALL, Texas - RJ Navarro finished sixth and Austin College came in fifth overall among the 10 teams competing at the 8K Tiger Invitational hosted by East Texas Baptist on Saturday morning.
Navarro crossed with a time of 28:10.2 for the sixth place finish, and Charlie McIntyre came across in 29:11.5 to claim 17th place in the event. Chris Biffar placed 29th with a time of 30:37.3, and Andrew Thomas was 32nd with a time of 30:51.3. Johnny Biffar added a 37th place finish, coming in with a time of 31:24.8 to round out the top five finishers for the 'Roos.
Up next for the 'Roos is a trip to Irving on October 13, where they'll compete in the University of Dallas Invitational beginning at 9:00 a.m.
