SEGUIN, Texas - The Austin College men's cross country team took sixth place at the 2017 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship Meet, with Johnny Biffar finishing 19th overall in the event.

Biffar broke the school record in the 8K with his time of 27:18 to finish in the top 20 at the meet, while Chris Biffar came in with a time of 28:07, a personal best and good for 26th place. Jimmy Ding ran a personal best of 30:25 in the meet, placing 40th overall, and Matthew Gregory finished with a time of 32:07. Burhan Biviji ran a personal best in the meet, coming home with a time of 35:04.
