SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - In a field that included three other SCAC opponents, Austin College grabbed fifth place in the Our Lady of the Lake Invitational 8K for Men's Cross-Country.

Freshman Matthew Gregory placed 21st overall in the event, good for 8th out of the SCAC schools with a time of 29:31 (5:56/mile), while Senior Jeff Kubena edged out Juan Sanchez by one second and took 2nd for the 'Roos, running 6:34/mile splits for a 32:28 finish.

In all, five Kangaroo Runners placed in the top-36 in the event, with Jimmy Ding and Cody Meyers placing 35th and 36th respectively.

Austin College will be off until October 1st, where they will travel to Marshall, Texas to compete in the East Texas Baptist Meet at 9:00 AM.
