WOODLAND, Calif. –Austin College men's water polo player Andrew Pope has been selected as an honorable mention All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation performer, the league office has announced.

Pope, a freshman attacker from Flower Mound, makes history as the first ever All-MPSF pick in 'Roo men's water polo history. Earlier this year, he was also the program's first ever weekly honoree when he was named Newcomer of the Week. That came on the heels of scoring the game-winner with just eight seconds left against Montmouth, delivering the first win in program history. 

For the year, Pope finished 14^thin the MPSF in goals scored with 22 in 13 games, an average of 1.69 goals-per-game.
