Men's Tennis Drops Pair of Matches in Arkansas

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - The Austin College men's tennis team fell in both of its matches this weekend on the campus of the University of Ozarks, dropping a 9-0 decision on Saturday against Hendrix and a 9-0 match on Sunday against Ozarks.

Luke Henley and Tate Nelson fell 8-1 in line one doubles against Hendrix, and William Dixon and AJ Wueste also fell by a score of 8-1 on line two. In flight three doubles, Storm Simonin and Yudai Abe were downed by a score of 8-3. Henley fell 0-6, 0-6 playing line one singles, and Nelson dropped a 3-6, 1-6 decision on line two. Simonin fell 1-6, 1-6 on line three, while DIxon, Wueste, and Abe dropped lines four through six by scores of 5-8, 7-8, and 0-8 respectively.

Against Ozarks, Henley and Nelson fell 8-3 in flight one doubles, and Dixon and Wueste dropped an 8-4 decision. In the line three match, Simonin and Abe fell by a score of 8-1. Henley was defeated 4-6, 1-6 on line one in singles competition, and Nelson fell 2-6, 1-6 on line two. Dixon dropped a 0-6, 1-6 line three match, and Simonin fell 3-6, 3-6 on line four. In line five action, Wueste was downed 3-6, 0-6, while Abe dropped his flight five match 4-6, 1-6.
