SHREVEPORT, La. - A 9-0 victory over the Gents of Centenary College is the first recorded SCAC victory of the 2019 Spring Men's Tennis Season for the Austin College Kangaroos.
Senior co-Captain Josh Granberry and Sophomore Brett O'Brien picked up their first victories in Singles and Doubles against the Gents, teaming up for an 8-2 victory as a tandem, while collectively dropping only 1 game as Lines 1 and 2 Singles respectively.
Travis Fortune and Safe Rahman both bounced back in singles with straight-set 6-0, 6-0 victories at Lines 5 and 6 for the two juniors.
Austin College returns to the court at the Cockrell Tennis Center in Shreveport, La against Millsaps College at 4:00PM later today.
