Four 'Roos Earn All-SCAC in Men's Tennis

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. –Austin College men's tennis players Kenneth Hardy and Andres Padilla were named first team All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, and Josh Granberry and Erik Meendsen were honorable mention selections in voting by the conference head coaches. 

Hardy, a junior from Lubbock, posted seven victories in singles competition, including four victories playing line one. His other three singles wins came at line two. Hardy also had six doubles wins on the year, all coming at line one.

Padilla, a freshman from League City, led the 'Roos with 13 singles victories on the year. Padilla ended the season with a record of 13-8 in singles play, including four wins at line three and two at line two. He also had nine doubles wins this season, coming primarily at lines two and three. 

Granberry, a junior from Plano, earned five wins in singles competition, with three of those victories coming at line two. He also had three line one doubles wins, and four line two doubles victories. 

Meendsen, a senior from Aledo, had seven singles victories this season, including going 1-0 at both line two and line three. He also paired with multiple teammates to earn 10 victories in doubles competition, mostly coming at line two.

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
