SHERMAN, Tex. - The Austin College Men's Tennis Team received further accolades to conclude their 2017-18 tennis season, placing 5 members on the SCAC All-Tournament Team for their performances in Colorado Springs, CO last weekend.

Josh Granberry, a Junior from Plano, TX was named to his first All-Tournament Team in singles at Line 2 for his performances against Trinity, and the way he stepped up and took the first set for the Kangaroos against Texas Lutheran in Round 1 after Kenneth Hardy was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Andres Padilla went undefeated (1-0) at Line 2 singles in the same match against Texas Lutheran, claiming the clinching point for the Kangaroos over the Bulldogs.

Padilla and partner Calum Robe went undefeated 3-0 at Line 3 doubles, logging wins over Texas Lutheran, Trinity, and Colorado College.  The victory over Trinity was the 'Roos first doubles point over the Tigers in over a decade.

Siddharth Kortikere earned 3 designations for All-Tournament Team.  Kortikere went undefeated (1-0) at Line 4 singles and claimed the first singles victory for the 'Roos against the TLU Bulldogs in Round 1, and claimed the second singles point of the match at Line 5 against Colorado College. Kortikere would earn All-Tournament Team Honors at both positions.

In the match against TLU, Kortikere would also team with Travis Fortune at Line 1 Doubles for a big 8-4 victory that put Austin College up 3-0 going into the singles competition.  The duo would not play together again, so earned Line 1 Doubles All-Tournament Team honors for their performance in that match.

5 Players on the All-Tournament Team is the most in Austin College Men's Tennis Program History, and an exciting cap to a season where the Kangaroos played their toughest schedule in recent history, and matched the best finish in their program's existence.
