SHREVEPORT, La. - The Austin College Men's Tennis Team collected their first Conference victory of Spring 2017 over the Gentlemen of Centenary College in dominant fashion.

All 9 Kangaroos contributed to the final score in at least one match, with several Kangaroos picking up their first individual victories of the season.

Doubles started in near perfect fashion for the 'Roos with all three courts posting unblemished 8-0 decisions.  Singles continued in similar fashion for AC with 4 of 6 courts winning 12-straight games for 6-0, 6-0 victories.

Erik Meendsen picked up the first victories of his Junior season at Line 3 Doubles and Line 1 Singles.  Pieter Cabato and Preston Glasscock followed suit without dropping a game at Line 2 Doubles and Line 3/4 Singles.

Safe Rahman and Travis Fortune capped their Spring 2017 Singles debuts with 6-0, 6-0 victories at Lines 5 & 6 Singles.

When the dust settled, Austin College won 96 games to Centenary's 2; an encouraging way to move to 1-0 in the SCAC standings.
