LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Austin College men's tennis player Kenneth Hardy has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league office has announced.
Hardy, a sophomore from Lubbock, had an outstanding opening match against the University of Texas-Dallas on Sunday. Hardy went undefeated against the regionally ranked Comets, teaming with Siddharth Kortikere for a big 9-7 win at line one doubles and then earning hard-fought three set win while playing line two singles. Hardy won his singles match 6-4, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (7).
Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
