SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College men's and women's swimming and diving teams will be kicking off the 2019 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship Meet on Wednesday, with the even running through Saturday in San Antonio.
Hosted at the Aquatic Center at Palo Alto College, the meet gets underway on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. with the 200 medley relay, followed by the 800 free relay. After a quick first day of action, the 'Roos will be taking part in prelims at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning with four more events scheduled. Finals for Thursday will once again begin at 6:00 p.m. The third day of action will follow the same schedule, as the men's and women's teams will get in the pool for eight events, including the men's 1-meter and women's 3-meter diving competition.
Things will wrap up on Saturday with the final eight events, including men's 3-meter women's 1-meter diving. Prelims will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the conference will recognize the seniors on all competing teams at 5:45 p.m. before wrapping up the meet with finals starting at 6:00 p.m.
