VENICE, Fla. - The Austin College men's swimming and diving team swam well in a 77-52 victory over Lawrence University during the team's winter training trip to Sarasota on Wednesday.
The 200 medley team of Chris Brown, Tyler Brown, Collin Vu, and Nic Cappellini got the 'Roos off to a strong start with a victory in the first event of the meet, coming in with a time of 1:44.10. Chris Brown added a win in the 50 backstroke, posting a time of 26.53, and Tyler Brown touched in 28.37 to win the 50 breaststroke. He also added a victory in the 100 individual medley, finishing with a time of 58.95 in the event.
Vu added a win in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.50, finishing just ahead of Tyler Brown, who touched with a time of 23.86. Vu also finished second in the 50 butterfly with a time of 25.59.
