Men's Swimming Cruises Past McMurry

ABILENE, Texas - The Austin College men's swimming and diving team was dominant in the pool on Saturday, topping McMurry University 140-64 in a road dual meet.

Chris Brown and Tyler Brown were both triple winners at the meet, with Chris Brown taking first place in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:25.37, and adding a 100 back victory with a time of 55.60. Tyler Brown won the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.42 and the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.89, and both swimmers teamed with Colin Vu and Nic Cappellini to take first in the 200 medley relay.

Vu and Cappellini each added an individual win of their own, with Vu winning the 50 free with a time of 23.13 and Cappellini taking first in the 500 free with a time of 5:33.14. James Curtis was another individual winner, placing first in the 1000 free with a time of 13:08.96, and Jason Chen touched first in the 200 free in a time of 1:55.40. 

Austin College also got first place points from Colton Baker in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events, with Baker scoring 175.95 in the 1-M event and 133.45 in the 3-M dive.
