Vu Sets New AC Record at Colorado College

Austin College swimmer Colin Vu made Austin College history, breaking the program record in the 50 free as the 'Roos fell to Colorado College on Wednesday. The 'Roos fell 230.5 to 97.5 at the meet in Colorado Springs.

Vu broke the old record in the 50 free by 1/10th of a second, coming in with a time of 21.59 to take first place in the event. The 'Roos also got a first place finish from Tyler Brown in the 100 breaststroke, as Brown touched with a time of 1:03.05 in the event. Chris Brown added a pair of second place finishes, first in the 100 and then in the 200 backstroke.

Vu, Tyler Brown, Chris Brown, and Eric Brown also took first place in the 200 freestyle relay, coming in with a time of 1:31.57 in the event.
