The Austin College men's swimming and diving team earned a dominant victory over visiting McMurry University on Saturday, winning 126-55 in Hannah Natatorium.
The team of Chris Brown, Tyler Brown, Collin Vu, and Nic Cappellini got the 'Roos off to a fast start with a victory in the 200 medley relay, coming in with a time of 1:42.87. Brian Nguyen then cruised to a first place finish in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:55.58, with Chris Brown placing second five seconds behind him.
Vu added an easy victory in the 200 freestyle, winning by a 10 second margin with a time of 1:51.60, and Colton Baker placed first in the 50 free with a time of 23.53, just ahead of Cappellini, who finished with a time of 24.13.
Tyler Brown placed first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:05.42, and Vu added another first place finish in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.45. Overall, Austin College had a first place finisher in all but two events during the course of the meet.
