SHERMAN, Tex. - Senior Night was a success as the Austin College Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Teams had their best results at the AC Invite since they began hosting the event.

Lauren Wheeler compiled 2 First-Place finishes in the 100-Yard Backstroke (1:00.49) and 50-Yard Freestyle (25.65), and a Second-Place finish in the 200-Yard Backstroke (2:12.69), trailing by only 1.16 seconds in that event.

Erik Gentzel matched Wheeler for the Men when he took 1st in the 100-Yard Backstroke (57.17) and 2nd in the 200-Yard Backstroke (2:05.48).

Colin Vu took 1st and 2nd in the 50 and 100-Yard Freestyles (22.30 & 50.85), while Amit Pullarkat claimed 1st and 3rd in the Butterfly races (55.22 & 2:09.63).

Margaux McCartney and Katherine Tuttle took 1st and 2nd in both the 1 & 3-Meter Diving Events, while Parker Adams placed 2nd in both events for the Men's program.

The Kangaroos have only one more duel meet, at Centenary this weekend, January 16th, before preparing for SCAC Championships in February.
