Catchpole Named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College's Louis Catchpole has been named the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played through Monday, September 4, the league office has announced.

got his junior campaign off to a blazing start, leading Austin College to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2017. Catchpole scored four times, getting a game-winner in a road match against East Texas Baptist and adding a hat trick in a 5-2 win over LeTourneau. Catchpole's hat trick is the first for an Austin College player since 2017. With four goals through two games, Catchpole has already matched his scoring total from a year ago.
