CONWAY, Ark. - The Austin College men's soccer team found itself in a defensive battle at Hendrix College on Friday, drawing with the Warriors 0-0 to bring the team's record to 1-4-1 overall on the year.
The 'Roos and Warriors combined for just six shot attempts as both sides managed to shut down the attacks of the opposition, and Austin College managed to limit Hendrix to just two shots in the match and zero after halftime. Austin College had three second half opportunities but could not get the ball in the back of the net.
Connor Tullis earned the clean sheet in goal for Austin College, stopping the only shot attempt he faced. The 'Roos will be back in action on Sunday, when they remain in Arkansas to take on Ozarks.
