The 'Roos are now 2-11 overall and 0-5 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

GEORGETOWN, Texas - The Austin College men's soccer team found itself in a defensive battle throughout its match on Friday at Southwestern University, but the Pirates managed to put one goal in the net in each half to hand the 'Roos a 2-0 defeat. The 'Roos are now 2-11 overall and 0-5 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
Neither team found many chances offensively in the match, with Southwestern firing 11 shots to seven for Austin College, but Scott Wilson put in what would prove to be the game-winner in the 22nd minute of action for the Pirates. The score remained 1-0 heading into the second half, where Southwestern managed to double the margin and put the game away in the 56th minute on a tally by Winston Hebert.
Connor Tullis made a pair of saves for Austin College, while Southwestern keeper Jack Viles also had a pair of stops.
