'Roo Men Edged at Dallas

IRVING, Texas - The Austin College men's soccer team fell 1-0 at the University of Dallas on Tuesday, as the Crusaders found the back of the net in the 61st minute for what would ultimately be the game-winner. The 'Roos are now 4-4-2 overall and 3-4-1 in SCAC play.

Dallas controlled possession through the first half, out-shooting the 'Roos 8-1 but neither team was able to find the net before the break. At the 60:49 mark in the second half, Chima Ogueri broke open the scoreless match with an unassisted goal to put the Crusaders ahead, and Austin College was unable to find the equalizer. Dallas finished the match holding a 16-4 edge in shots, while Joseph Khalaf made three saves for Austin College.

The 'Roos head to Colorado this weekend, taking on Colorado College and Johnson and Wales.
