LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Austin College men's soccer player Phillip Le has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office has announced.
Le, a senior from Frisco, scored four goals in three games last week while adding an assist as the 'Roos went 2-1. Le scored twice and assisted on another in a victory over Centenary, and followed that up by sending in a penalty kick in a loss to No. 8-ranked Trinity. He then wrapped up the weekend with a goal against Schreiner as the 'Roos came away with their third conference win of the season.
For the year, Le is tied for the team lead with five goals and also leads the SCAC with five assists. With 15 total points on the year, Le is currently tied for third in the conference in that category.
