KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Austin College men's soccer players Thomas Quick and Phillip Le were both honored as United Soccer Coaches All-West Region performers for the 2017 season, the organization announced today. The two are among 11 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference players to earn this recognition.

Quick, a senior forward from Austin, was a second team All-West Region selection after being named first team All-SCAC. He was also the runner-up in voting for the SCAC's offensive Player of the Year Award after scoring 11 goals and adding five assists this season. His 11 goals were the second most in the conference, and he finished the year third in total points.

Le, a junior midfielder from Frisco, was also a second team All-West Region pick. This season he was a first team All-SCAC selection after scoring seven goals and adding two assists on the year. Le was also among the conference leaders in both shots and shots on goal during the season. This is the second straight year he's earned All-Region honors, having been named third team All-West last season.

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
