Four 'Roos Earn Men's Soccer All-SCAC

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Austin College men's soccer players Thomas Quick, Phillip Le, Joseph Khalaf, and Levin Dyson have been named All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference performers for the 2017 season, the league office has announced.

Quick, a senior forward from Austin, was a first team All-SCAC pick and the runner-up for the conference's Offensive Player of the Year Award by just one vote after scoring 11 goals and adding five assists this season. His 11 goals were the second most in the conference, and he finished the year third in total points. This is the second straight year he's earned first team All-Conference honors.

Le, a junior midfielder from Frisco, was a first team All-SCAC selection after scoring seven goals and adding two assists on the year. Le was also among the conference leaders in both shots and shots on goal during the season. This is the second straight year he's earned first team All-SCAC honors.

Khalaf, a junior goalkeeper from Sherman, was a first team All-SCAC selection after leading the conference with 108 saves and finishing second with a .812 save percentage while starting every game of the year for the 'Roos. Khalaf was in the net for six shutouts this season for the 'Roos, and was a first team All-SCAC pick for the second year in a row.

Dyson, a junior defender from Forney, was an honorable mention All-SCAC pick after anchoring the Austin College defense and helping the 'Roos earn six shutouts and the number four seed in the SCAC Tournament. Dyson added an assist and helped facilitate offensive chances throughout the year from his defensive position, as well. 

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
