After a defensive battle in the first half that saw just eight combined shots and no goals, Centenary broke through with just minutes to play. The Gents tallied at the 85:17 mark with a score from Nick Hammond to make it 1-0, and Austin College was unable to counter in the closing moments of the match.

Centenary held a slight edge in shots at 12-10, while Joseph Khalaf made six saves in the net for Austin College. The 'Roos move on to host the SCAC Tournament next weekend, where they'll take on No. 4-seed Southwestern on Friday.
