'Roo Men's Soccer Battles Centenary to Scoreless Draw

The Austin College men's soccer team battled to its third draw of the season as the 'Roos took on Centenary College in Shreveport and the two sides finished the game knotted at 0-0 after two overtime periods. Austin College is now 0-6-3 overall this season.

Austin College held an 18-14 shot advantage in the game, and put five on goal as opposed to just two for the Gents, but the 'Roos were unable to find the back of the net. Joey Alcocer had a team-high five shot attempts, including putting two on goal, and Roberto Varela also put a pair of shots on target but was unable to tally. Austin College also held an 8-4 edge in corner kicks.

Andrew Celio made a pair of saves in goal for the 'Roos, while Rylan Whan made five stops for Centenary.
