A week after battling Schreiner to a double overtime draw at home, the 'Roo men's soccer team fell 1-0 on the road against the Mountaineers on Friday afternoon. The 'Roos are now 3-7-2 overall and 3-4-1 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with the loss.
Neither team was able to get on the board in the first half, but the Mountaineers struck less than six minutes into the second to take a 1-0 lead and that would be all they'd need to topple Austin College. Andrew Celio made two saves in goal as each team attempted eight shots in the game.
Austin College will be looking to get back on track on Sunday when they take on Texas Lutheran, a team they topped 1-0 in overtime last Sunday.
