'Roo Men's Soccer Falls at Southwestern

The Austin College men's soccer team fell 3-0 against Southwestern University in Georgetown on Friday night. The 'Roos are now 2-5-1 overall and 2-2 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with the defeat.

The 'Roos fell in a 1-0 hole 10 minutes in, and that remained the score until midway through the second half. However, the Pirates scored twice in a six minute span from the 72nd to 78th minutes to push the margin to 3-0 and that's how it would finish.

The Pirates owned a 17-7 shot advantage in the match, including a 10-2 margin in shots on goal. Andrew Celio made seven saves in the net for Austin College.
